Please note: this information refers to stewarding applications only. Although similar, the campaigning application process differs slightly.

Go to http://www.oxfam.org.uk/festivals to apply. To find out what you need to have ready before you apply, see the main Oxfam Festivals site here. If you have any problems, read our FAQs here.

Once you have submitted your form, you should receive two emails: one listing the festivals you've been successful in applying for and one confirming your deposit payment has been successful. If you haven't received both emails within three working days, check your spam folder.

When you have received both emails, you can assume your application to steward at the festival(s) stated has been accepted - subject to you attending any relevant training (if you selected a training session on the application form) and a reference check (if you are new to stewarding with us). Please note: reference checks are sent out automatically to the email address you give on your application form. Unless you hear otherwise, you can assume your reference check has been successful. We will only contact you regarding a reference if there has been a problem, please do not contact the office to check.

As long as you attend any relevant training sessions (if you booked yourself onto one when you applied this would have been confirmed in your confirmation email), you now have nothing further to do. Keep your confirmation emails safe.

Unless we need to send you training updates or any festival specific information, you will not receive anything from us until your pre-festival letter or email shortly before the festival.

A week or two before the festival(s) you have applied for, you will receive your pre-festival letter or email from the Festival Office. This letter or email will confirm entry instructions, times of entry/registration etc. and any travel details you may need and will also be the letter you will need to bring with you to the gate in order to gain entry to the festival. If this is the first festival you are stewarding at this year, you may also receive a stewarding guide to read ahead of arriving on site. Please read it - even if you have stewarded before.

When you have received your pre-festival letter or email, you should have all the information you need to head down to site. For more information about getting ready for stewarding, please check out our Tips for Preparing for a Festival and our Tips for Arriving on Site. Make sure you keep on eye on this website and the main Oxfam Festivals Website for any late changes/updates to entry instructions.

See you on site!
